تمثل الفنانة سميرة سعيد حقبة هامة في الساحة الغنائية العربية، هي تلك الفتاة الصغيرة التي شغلت الناس في أرجاء المغرب العربي وهي سميرة بن سعيد التي تحولت للقاهرة عملا بنصيحة عبد الحليم وجل عمالقة الغناء الذين أبهرتهم بموهبتها وبأداءها المتميز.. تحولت للقاهرة ووجدت نفسها في مواجهة عمالقة الغناء مثل نجاة الصغيرة، فائزة أحمد، وردة وتمكنت من فرض نفسها بينهن. عملت سميرة مع كبار الموسيقيين والشعراء وشدت بأروع الألحان…وكانت سميرة تغير أسلوبها من ألبوم لأخرلتكون بذلك قد أثرت مشوارها بأنماط موسيقية مختلفة

I am totally fascinated with Samira… She is simply AWESOME…!!!
I first heard her superhit song “Youm wara youm” and then her other hits…. They are all amazing.
I am an Indian and dont understand Arabic, but her music transcends all language, cultural and political boundaries.
In fact, I was delighted to hear one Indian song that features Samira “Har Taraf”
